Wanted a Chapter Break page for my webcomic, WARBIRDS OF MARS ( [link] ), and dreamed this up a few weeks back. Finally got to pencil it over the weekend and it took me all day today to ink it. I even crapped out an hour ago, so I added the P-51X in the background in photoshop from a previous drawing. I really wanted to focus on textures of some of the old WWII era materials used on their clothes. Of course, this is just linework... I'd love to eventually get round to coloring it. The piece as a page/chap header posts friday.
