Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men..? The SHADOW KNOWS!! HAHAHAHAHA!!
Remember, Kids; the weed of crime bears bitter fruit... unless it means getting to tie up beautiful women in satin slips and stockings and throwing knives at them... until the Shadow shows up, of course, then things can get pretty bitter...
If you don't know who or what the Shadow is, get on wikipedia and get to know one of the guys who's a contemporary and precursor to the likes of Batman and other such characters. Only the Shadow started as a radio show host, then the hero of said radio show, then comics, books, his own pulp magazine, movies, etc etc etc. Anyway, he rules.
Started work on this months back, then gave it up, thinking I'd screwed up her face. I picked it back up tonight and tweaked my problem areas, then finished it up and decided to take out my pencil lines.
Pretty happy with the results... looks pulpy and spooky. Played with shadows and pulp colors, and did one with a logo as well: [link]
