Man's Action - commission

This was a private commission. The client wanted 'my' version of his favorite Men's Magazine cover from the 1960s (Norman Saunders did many of the best, but in this case the excellent work (shown, bottom right) was done by John Duillo for the Aug. 1968 edition of Man's Action). It was a lot of fun doing similar but 'updated' poses and scenarios. It challenged me to play with a few textures and techniques in order to approximate the same scene with my own style. A very cool little project.
