Gunn Takes a Gander

I was assigned to illustrate a pulp detective "Bear Gunn" story by Nikki Nelson-Hicks for an upcoming New-Pulp anthology book from AIRSHIP 27 (www.airship27.com), which I couldn't resist. I didn't have a lot of time to refine this one, but in my quick researching I found some cool old signs and fonts to include/emulate.

Micron pens on Strathmore, 6x9 I think (thereabouts). Brush pen for some of the texture. I posed for Gunn in vintage threads.
