Well, I'm finally back at the art desk - albiet sporadically - as I finish moving into my new home and so on. I've been playing with this one off and on during the move, and for the most part I am pleased. The dragon is certainly one of my fullest and most dynamic to date, though I should have done more tests in pencil before i tackled those wings. Once again, it was a random scene, inspired by images both seen and in my head. Stock is credited below, though I should thank McFarlane toys indirectly for giving me some dragon ideas in terms of body and texture. I could have spent more than the 20-30 hours I did spend, but Its time to move on to other projects.
I assume she's called him there, as she has the Music that Soothes the Savage Beast... or is she the Beauty that Shall Slay Him? ...I doubt it ;)

Doc, I think this is one of your best. I'll add it to my wishlist in preparation for another print run for this Christmas. Glad to hear you're all moved in and getting back in the art swing. =)
